Nu-Goth fashion is something I also saw on tumblr but it is also around Dublin city a lot. Its edgy but wearable and easy enough to shop for. I like this trend but it isn't my favorite I've blogged about so far. I think it can get mistaken for grunge a lot. I mix up the styles anyways. It isn't a hard style to shop for at all. I mean you could walk right into Urban Outfitters and pick an whole out it and BAM! Nu Goth! This isn't a common style among celebrities, I actually didn't find a celebrity that fit into the style. But its popular with internet personalities.

By far out of three internet personalities I mentioned my favorite has to be Bunny (Grav3yardGirl). I followed her on Youtube for ages and not to long ago her views shot up and she now has over 127'000 subscribers on her channel and over 10'000'000 video views. Her style really varies between Nu Goth, Hipster Goth and Pastel Goth/ Grunge. On her channel she puts some great outfit of the days up. She makes some great inspired ones like Shutter Island, Johnny Depp and Hunter S. Thompson. Not To mention her shoe collection is to die for! I don't know much about the other two girls but Bunny is by far the sweetest out of them all. Be sure to watch the videos I attach and become part of the swamp family!
I feel like Nu-Goth is a mix of grunge, goth and a tiny piece of pastel goth. Depending on the person a slight bit of indie. Its not easy to categorize this style and you can see lots of different influences. Its full of pastel hair or very dark shades of purple and green, long skirts, mesh, collars, velvet.

To be honest I think this style still can be a bit boring. To me anyways. I like it be its gets really repetitive and bland. It depends on who does it. The people I featured do it well and mix it up and take bits from different trends. I do like the shoes in this style a lot! Boots, Docs, Hell Raisers, Hell Bounds. Accessories are cool too. Crosses, Lennon glasses, spikes, skulls.
This style is softer that normal goth fashion. I prefer it, on me. I don't suit normal goth fashion, though I do love it and goth culture. Anyone that can pull it off and rock it gets a thumbs up from me I could never do that. You can accessories for this style all over the place now. Even at Forever 21.
What do you all think? Love/Hate Nu Goth?Or are you from the Swamp Family?

Taylor momson is a celeb example of NuGoth

Oh my gosh, I love Bunny too! I must confess I'm only a recent member of the swamp family, but ever since seeing her Purity Ring concert outfit (which, fittingly - is nu-goth) I've been hooked. Now I'm ruthlessly raiding the archives for Grav3yard Girl gems. I'm guessing you've seen the outfit she made/altered? I need that in my life.
